JURADO & FARSHCHIAN, P.L.

My experience at Jurado & Farshchian, P.L. provided me with the opportunity of a lifetime. I was able to work side-by-side with the partners and associates of the firm in immigration, real estate, and business legal issues. This experience helped me to interact with clients and City officials every day. During my time at the firm, I participated in dozens of property closings meetings, learned to redact contracts and deeds, and developed written and communicational skills. Throughout my internship, I assisted lawyers with pro-bono cases, jurisprudence, legal research, and client assistance. This experience helped me to analyze different fields in the legal sphere that allowed me to develop my areas of interest.

One of the most interesting parts of the internship was the vast diversity of clients and employees that conformed the firm. This diverse background expanded the firm to assist and volunteer in multiple NGOs, Human Rights violation cases, and pro-bono assistance. These factors allowed me to have a global learning experience in my particular career field.

As an intern at Jurado & Farshchian, P.L., I had the opportunity to collaborate with Club Amazonas USA as an assistant to the President and board members of the organization. The purpose of the organization is to pursue medical missions in impoverished and low-income neighborhoods in Latin America. In this case, I served in the Miami office by managing operations with the Peruvian Consulate to pursue medical missions in Chachapoyas, Perú.
